Norphlet Flu Clinic

The Norphlet campus flu clinic will be held the morning of November 7th in the Norphlet auditorium foyer.

Flu shot forms were sent home last week.  If you need an extra form, the Norphlet Middle School office and the Norphlet Elementary office have extras for students and staff.

 

Family STEM Night Sneak Peak #1: The Grand Finale

The 4th Annual Family STEM Night will be Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 5:45 – 8 pm at Norphlet Middle School.  K-12 students, parents, and community members are invited to attend!

Lt. Governor Tim Griffen will speak briefly about all the amazing STEM opportunities available in South Arkansas!

Magic Show!

Lockheed Martin will present The Magic of Science:  Levitation through Static!  This cool magic show will feature several adult individual floating on objects which do not appear to support their weight!

Drawing for Door Prizes!

There are fun activities for young and old!  Don’t miss out on this fun evening!

 

Tailgate Party

The Smackover High School junior class will be hosting a tailgate this Thursday before the Harmony Grove football game.

The tailgate party will be located by the softball field from 5-7.

Admission is $10 a person which includes your ticket into the game, a hotdog, bag of chips, and a drink.

Come join the fun, games, music, and mingling!

Angel Tree Program

The last call for registration for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program serving residents of Calhoun, Ouachita, and Union County residents is October 30, 2018.

Angel Tree Applications will be taken from 9 am to 7 pm on a first come-first served basis.  Doors will close 10 minutes early.

What to bring:

  • Picture ID
  • Birth certificate for all children 12 and under
  • Proof of guardianship
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of all income and expenses of everyone in household
  • If you receive food stamps/SNAP benefits, you will need to go to DHS and obtain a verification form from them.

All applications will be taken at the Salvation Army located at 419 South Madison in El Dorado, AR.
