SHS Fall Sports Banquet Scheduled Monday, Dec. 5

It’s time again for the annual Smackover Sr. High Fall Sports Banquet! The Banquet will be held on Monday, Dec. 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the Smackover First Baptist Church Family Life Center.

The Fall Sports Banquet celebrates the hard work and accomplishments of students and staff in the programs of Athletic Training, Volleyball, Football, Cheer, Tennis, Golf and Cross Country. All other Smackover-Norphlet sports will be covered in the Spring Sports Banquet.

The banquet will be catered by Woods Place from Camden, with the meal featuring chicken, fish, and side dishes.  Each athlete who started and completed a fall sport will be provided with a ticket to the event. Athletes will have the ability to receive two additional tickets to the event. The cost for parents who want to attend will be $15 a plate.

There will also be a small number of tickets for those who do not wish to participate in the meal. The cost of the meal for the athletes is paid for by the Booster Club.

Tickets can be picked up from Coach Osborn at the following times beginning Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Smackover High School office from 7:40 a.m. until the start of school; during lunch in the concession area; and/or at home sporting events this week leading up to the banquet.

If other arrangements need to be made for ticket sales/pickup, please contact Coach David Osborn at 870-725-1213 or via email at david.osborn@smackover.net.
