Author Visits NES

So it wasn’t a real snake…but the 25 foot replica was a big part of the story related to the 2nd – 6th grade students at Norphlet by author Jefferson Knapp when he visited in April.

Knapp is a native of Kansas.  He is the successful author of a series of children’s books called The Adventures at the End of the Driveway.  Knapp visited the schools in Norphlet to sign his books, and more importantly, to encourage the students to write using both their imaginations and their real life experiences.
