SES Spelling Bee Winners

Congratulations to Kaden Thompson for winning the Smackover Elementary School spelling bee!  Runner-up was Janelle Drummond.

 

 

Baseball Camp

The Smackover High School baseball team hosted a baseball camp on Saturday, December 16, for 9 – 14 year olds in the district.

Camp coaches were Coach BJ Greene, Coach Jeff Burson, Coach Cody Cranford, Logan Clark, Beau Burson, Jackson Martin, Keiandre Purifoy, and the Smackover High School baseball team.

The second and third graders at Smackover Elementary School presented a Christmas program last Tuesday.

SPS Celebrates Christmas

Ms. Donna and Ms. Marsha had their Christmas party last Friday at Smackover Preschool.  Students had pizza, chips and dip, cupcakes and drinks. We also had a few parents that came and partied with us!

SHS Softball Team Celebrates Christmas

The Smackover High School softball team had their annual Christmas party last week.  They also went shopping and wrapped presents for a family that they sponsored this year.

Merry Christmas from the Smackover-Norphlet School District!

The Smackover-Norphlet School District will be closed from December 21, 2017 – January 3, 2018.  School will resume on Thursday, January 4, 2018.

School will also be dismissed on Monday, January 15, for the MLK Holiday.

Former SHS Students Signs on with University

Elmo Hempstead, 2015 graduate of Smackover High School, recently signed to play football for the University of Kansas.  Elmo is also an honor student and has represented the Buckaroos in an outstanding manner.  Congratulations, Elmo!
