NES Book Fair

Norphlet Elementary School will have its fall Book Fair September 2-5 and September 8.  Come by the library and check out all of the great books which you can buy!

PSAT/NMSQT Information

Smackover High School students wishing to take the PSAT/NMSQT Test need to pay $15 by September 15 to the Smackover High School office and pick up a guide & practice booklet from Ms. Yeager.

The PSAT/NMSQT test qualifies students for the “National Merit Scholarship.” Students must take this exam in order to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship.

NHS Star Student Program

The Norphlet High School Student Council, staff, and administration are pleased to announce the Star Students for the Fall Semester.

NHS has two types of Star Students – Gold and Silver.

Silver Star Students are those who made A’s and B’s last Spring semester. These students will receive a certificate, two passes to any NHS sporting activity (basketball, softball, or baseball), two Lunch Fast-Passes, and a pencil.

NHS Scholastic Awards

Congratulations to the following Norphlet High School Students for receiving the Scholastic Award.  This award is given to the students who had the highest GPA for the year.

Standing Together T-Shirts

The Norphlet High School Student Council is selling “Standing Together” T-shirts.

Standing Together
It is a black t-shirt that has a Buckaroo boy and a Leopard Girl on the back with white print, “Standing Together,” and a small Buckaroo and Leopard with 2014 in white print on the front.

 

Shirts are $12.  Order forms are due by September 8th and may be turned into Ms. Lyn Jackson.  Checks may be made out to Norphlet High School Student Council.
