Below is the schedule for Senior and Junior High football for the month of July.
Senior High times are from 9am – 11 am.
Junior High is 11 am – noon for the first week then changing to 11 am – 12:30 pm thereafter.
7th grade does not start until July 27th; however, if a 7th grader would like to come in early they can.
All times are subject to change due to AAA requirements and regulations.
All middle school students that will be 11 years old by Sept 1, 2020 need to receive the required TDAP vaccine once they have their 11th birthday.
All 7 graders need to receive the required meningococcal vaccine.
Both of these are state required immunizations. All students need to be compliant with their immunizations prior to the start of school in August.

Because of graduation this week, we will NOT have a parent/athlete meeting for cross country this week.
The meeting for parents and cross country athletes will be Monday, July 6th at 6:30pm in the Norphlet Gym. We will be discussing schedules, physicals, eligibility, expectations for athletes and parents, and signing up on the new DragonFly for AAA.
This is a very important meeting for both athletes and parents! Then practice will officially start July 7th!
According to the local forecast, there is a chance of rain and possible thunderstorms disrupting the graduation ceremony on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Buckaroo Football Stadium at 8:00 p.m.
In the event of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will be rescheduled for Sunday, July 5, 2020 at the same location and time.
We hope the weather is not a factor and it is our expectation to hold graduation on July 3rd as planned.
The Smackover-Norphlet School District will hold a special called meeting on Thursday, July 2, 2020 regarding the refinancing of a bond.
The meeting will be held at 11:30 am at the central office and will be live-streamed for public access.

Norphlet Middle School pizza kits will be delivered on June 26.
If your student participated in the fundraiser, please pick the kits up from the school between 1 pm and 3:30 pm.

Attention parents of NEW 3 and 4 year old preschool students who were not enrolled in Smackover Preschool in 2019-2020:
To maintain proper social distancing guidelines, we are requiring that parents NOT bring their children to this registration.
Please bring the following items to complete the registration process:
During registration you will be asked to set an appointment time for you to bring your child back to the Smackover Preschool for screening on July 7, 8, or 9, 2020.
