STEM Saturday! NMS Family STEM Night!

Norphlet Middle School hosted its first annual Family STEM Night on Tuesday, December 15. There were tons of activities for students of all ages (and their parents, too!)

Thank you to Lockheed Martin for sending volunteers to help with some of the activities and for providing treats for the students!

Students Named All State Football Players

Smackover High School senior Keiandre Purifoy was named the 3A Defensive Player of the Year at the Farm Bureau Awards held in Little Rock on Monday night. Keiandre was also named to the All State football team.

Other Buckaroos selected for All State in football were Trevor Eppinette and Reeve Mullins

NES Kickball Tournament

Norphlet Elementary School held its annual kickball tournament with the winning classroom (Mrs. McGaugh’s third graders) playing in the finals against a team composed of NES faculty members.

STEM Saturday! Robotics!

Norphlet Middle School students enrolled in Mrs. Boerwinkle’s Automation and Robotics class were working this week on designing and creating a robot that would change directions if it bumped into another object.
