GLAMour Girls

Several Norphlet Middle School 6th Grade girls had an opportunity to take part in the “GLAMS: Girls Learning About Math and Science” conference on Feb. 23 at South Arkansas Community College.

GLAMS’ hands-on workshops and breakout sessions in science, technology, engineering and math fields are designed to provide participants with fun ways to learn practical information.

Career Planning

Norphlet Middle School 8th Grade students recently attended a College and Career Fair at the Smackover High School campus.  The fair provided students an opportunity to receive information and ask questions about businesses and local colleges.

In Need Of: Mardi Gras Beads!

The Smackover High School Art Department is asking for any or all of your Mardi Gras Beads! You may drop them off at Smackover High School office c/o Mrs. Elliott, SHS Art Department. Thank you for all your help and stay tuned to see the awesome work being produced in SHS Fine Arts Studio!

Good Performance

The Smackover High School Buckaroo Choir went to Lakeside Performing Arts Center in Hot Springs on Friday, Feb. 23, for their Regional Choral Performance Assessment (CPA) and received and Good rating for their performance.
