NMS and SHS Yearbook

Yearbooks for grades 6-12 may be purchased through Jostens.

The school will not be able to take orders until May, so it is best to purchase them online.

The cost of the yearbook is currently $45, but will increase after May.

 

Pictures Needed!

Mrs. Tonya Corley is needing 7th grade and junior high football pictures.

Baseball and Softball Pictures

Baseball and softball pictures will be made on Friday, April 15th, after lunch.

Order forms will be handed out to the players about 2 days before the pictures or you can call Tonya Corley at 725-3101 to order.

Players must have order forms filled out with the payment on that date!

 

GT Nominations

Nominations for possible placement into the Gifted and Talented Program are on-going throughout the year.  Students can be nominated by a parent, teacher, peer, community member, or themselves.

The deadline to return a nomination form for possible placement at the beginning of the next school year is April 22, 2016.

All nominations must be submitted to the GT Coordinator that date.  Nomination may be turned into either elementary office or mailed to 112 East 8th Street, Smackover, AR  71762.

NES Awards Assembly

The Norphlet Elementary School Awards Assembly for the 3rd nine weeks will be Friday, April 1, at 2:15 pm in the auditorium.

All parents are invited to attend.

 

 

Junior High Cheer Meeting

There will be a meeting for junior high cheerleaders and their parents on Thursday March 31st at 5:30 PM in the Norphlet Middle School library.

Band Booster Meeting

The Band Parents Booster Club will meet on Tuesday, March 29, at 6 pm in the high school band hall.

March Board Meeting

The Smackover-Norphlet School District will meet in regular session on Monday, March 28, 2016, at 5:30 pm in the board room of the central office.  The meeting is open to the public.
