Due to a large number of students enrolling in Smackover Elementary School the past few days, the class assignment list will not be posted as scheduled on Thursday, July 31.
Class lists for Smackover Elementary School will now be posted Friday afternoon, August 8, at 4 pm. The lists will be posted on The Buckaroo Blog and on the door of the elementary school building.

The annual Buckaroo Marching Band Camp will be August 4 – 9.
Camp will be held at Smackover High School from 8 am to 3 pm.

The Smackover-Norphlet School District has released its calendar for the 2014-2015 school year.

The Smackover-Norphlet School District will host an Open House on each campus for parents and students to meet the faculty and staff.
We encourage all parents and students to attend!
Students who are new to Norphlet Elementary School or Norphlet High School may register August 6-7, 2014 on the appropriate campus.
Class schedules for 7th-12th grade students will be distributed on the evening of Open House which will be Thursday, August 14, from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
The Smackover-Norphlet School District has a strong counseling program to support students and parents. Our three counselors are available to help students with career plans, personal counseling, college applications, college scholarships, and more!
We encourage parents to contact their child’s counselor for any of those services.
