NMS Book Character Pumpkins

Norphlet Middle School students were given the chance to decorate pumpkins as their favorite book characters.

Congratulations to the following winners:

1st Place was Emma Anglin with Hedwig from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
2nd Place was Kaylee Armstrong with Big Bird from Big Bird’s Big Book
3rd Place was Emilee Jones with Scaredy-Cat from Scaredy-Cat, Splat

Super Stunt Show for SES Students

Smackover Elementary School students recently participated in a fundraiser. Those students who met their fundraising goal were able to attend a BMX show on Thursday morning.

Five students participated in one of the stunts!

Mrs. Strickland participated in the other stunt!

A great time was had by all!

SES Students Learn About Engineering

Jim Bob Watson made a presentation about Lockheed Martin and engineering to the Smackover Elementary School 4th and 5th grade science classes in September. He also did an air pressure experiment with the students.
