The Smackover Chamber of Commerce’s annual Trunk or Treat will be held in Kennedy Park in downtown Smackover on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 5 pm.
The costume contest will begin at 6 pm.
In case of rain, the event will be moved to Hobgood Auditorium which is located on the Smackover High School campus.
Smackover Elementary School held its awards assembly for the first nine weeks. Students were presented awards for the following:
Additionally, several students presented a skit under the direction of Ms. Ruth Strauch, the elementary school counselor.
Third through sixth grade students from Smackover Elementary School Google Researched Bats. They learned about facts and myths about bats. Information on bats are displayed in the hall outside of the SES Library. Come by anytime to learn something about bats!!
The JV football game against Parkers Chapel has been rescheduled for Monday, November 2 at 6 pm. The game will be at Parkers Chapel.
Due to the rescheduling of this game, the Baseball Parent’s Meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 3, in Hobgood Auditorium at 6:30 pm.
