Students at Smackover Elementary School will take the ATLAS state assessment on Monday, May 6, 2024 through Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The schedule will be as follows:
- Monday, May 6, 2024: Reading
- Tuesday, May 7, 2024: Math
- Wednesday, May 8, 2024: Science
The following testing tips are encouraged:
- Get a good night’s sleep
- Dress comfortably but in accordance with the school dress code (layers are good for varying classroom temperatures)
- Arrive at school on time
- Eat a good breakfast
For students that need breakfast, breakfast will be in the cafeteria each morning 7:15-7:40. Parents or guardians should encourage their students to work hard and do their best on each exam.
Parents or guardians may access additional information about ATLAS testing at https://atlasportal.org/families.html, as well as access practice exams. When test results become available in the fall of 2024, families will be able to view student score information at this same web address.
