Weather Updates

The Smackover-Norphlet School District is continuing to evaluate the weather and road conditions today.

The weather is supposed to stay above freezing all day and throughout the night tonight.  Most city roads have had enough traffic that they are passable at this time; however, many of our rural areas and routes continue to be a concern.

The District will evaluate the roads this afternoon and into the evening with the hopes of opening school tomorrow if possible.

The Buckaroo Blog will be updated when a decision has been made.

Basketball Updates

SENIOR BOYS BASKETBALL

  • The senior boys basketball team will play at Rison on Monday at 5:30 pm for a chance to go to Regionals
  • Tickets will be sold at the door.
  • The concession stand will NOT be open.

SENIOR GIRLS BASKETBALL

The senior girls basketball team will automatically be the #2 seed team at Regionals.

REGIONALS

Regional basketball games should start Wednesday.

Elementary Speech Students

Mrs. Crutchfield’s kindergarten through 4th grade speech students at Smackover Elementary School need to complete the speech activities in their Boom Learning Account.

If your student does not have their login information, please email christi.crutchfield@smackover.net .
