Today was Grinch day at the preschool. Four little girls dressed as Cindy Lou Who.
May each and everyone of us have the pureness of spirit like Cindy Lou Who this Christmas!

On behalf of the Smackover-Norphlet School District, I’d like to thank the Norphlet community and all the other volunteers that searched for a student after hours yesterday evening.
Within an hour, multiple community and staff members took action to help find a student despite the wet and cold conditions. Folks showed up with dogs, four-wheelers, side by sides, and on foot in the dark with flashlights to join the search. Fire and police forces were on the scene quickly, while others made coffee, reviewed video footage or joined on foot. It was a community at its best, all coming together to ensure a student was found!
To all those listed and others not mentioned, thank you for an outstanding job. Also, a special thank you goes to Mr. Beasley for leading and mobilizing everyone to ensure this student was found safe and sound.
Norphlet Middle School 8th grade students in Robin Boerwinkle’s STEM class had the opportunity to build and program robots.
The Cyberbots are controlled by small microbits the students have been working with in class.
