Basketball Schedule Updates

The basketball game against Bearden scheduled for Monday, November 14, has been changed to Tuesday, November 15. The games will still be played at Bearden and begin at 4:30.
The Jr. Girls and Jr. Boys will begin the Hampton Jr. High Tournament on Monday night. The Jr. Boys will play Monday at 8:30 against Warren.  The Jr. Girls will play Monday at 7:20 against Nevada.

SES Dress Up Days

Smackover Elementary School students are encourage to participate in the two dress up days next week:

  • Wednesday, November 16 – National Button Day – Wear clothing with buttons
  • Friday, November 18 – Mickey Mouse’s Birthday – Disney dress up day.

Sneak Peak #2: More Door Prizes Announced for K-8 Family STEM Night

The K-8 Family STEM Night will be held Tuesday, November 15, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Norphlet Middle School.  This evening is going to have lots of super fun activities, free food, and cool door prizes!

How to Win a Door Prize:

  1. Choose a cool STEM activity to do!
  2. Receive a ticket when you complete the STEM activity.
  3. Put your name and phone number on the ticket.  Tickets will be collected at a ticket table in the middle school hallway.
  4. Join us at 7:45 pm in the middle of the hallway for the drawing for door prizes.

Arkansas Farm Bureau (Union County) offered a Coloring Contest to students.  Smackover Elementary School Winners were as follows:
