2013 SHS Seniors Awarded Scholarships – Day 2

Over the next week, the Smackover School District would like to honor graduates of the class of 2013 who were awarded scholarships by highlighting five scholarship recipients a day.

  • Leah Brown will attend South Arkansas Community College. She has been awarded the Presidential Scholarship with a 2-year value of $5,280. She will receive the Academic Challenge Scholarship with a 2-year value of $4,000. Total Value: $9,280.
  • Haley Corley will attend the University of Arkansas. She has been awarded the Governor’s Scholarship with a 4-year value of $16,000. She has received a U of A Honors College Academy Scholarship with a 4-year value of $16,000, the $1,500 U of A Max Moody Scholarship, the SHS FCCLA $500 scholarship and she will receive the Academic Challenge Scholarship with a 4-year value of $14,000. Total Value: $48,000.
  • Ashley Drummond will attend the University of Central Arkansas.   She will receive a $750 UCA Institutional Scholarship. She will receive the Academic Challenge Scholarship with a 4-year value of $14,000. Total Value: $14,750.
  • Ariel Dunn will attend Henderson State University. She will receive the Presidential Excellence Scholarship with a 4-year value of $32,000, a $1,000 SHS Education Fund Scholarship as well as the Academic Challenge Scholarship with a 4-year value of $14,000. Total Value:  $47,000.
  • Nick Easley will attend Arkansas Baptist University. He has received the $750 Lifeshare Blood Drive scholarship.
