SES AR Winners Attend Travelers Baseball Game

Smackover Elementary School students have had the opportunity acquire Accelerated Reader points by reading books and then taking the Accelerated Reader Quizzes.  Top Accelerated Reader points and percentage students in each grade were awarded a trip to Little Rock to watch the Arkansas Travelers play baseball on Wednesday, May 2.

  • May 8 – School dismissed at 1 pm for Senior Day
  • May 11 – 4th grade field trip to the park

  • May 15 – Awards Program in Auditorium  at 9 am
  • May 15 – Kindergarten Graduation at 2 pm
  • May 16 – Students dismiss at 1pm
  • May 17 – 6th grade graduation at 9 am
  • May 17 – Students dismiss at 1 pm
  • May 18 – Last day of school (Students dismiss at 1 pm.)

  • May 1 – Band Banquet at 6:30 pm
  • May 8 – Senior Day at 1:15 pm (Buses run at 1 pm.)
  • May 14 – Awards Day at 1 pm
  • May 16, 17, 18 – Semester Tests (Buses run at 1 pm.)
  • May 18 – Graduation at 8 pm at the football field (If it is raining, graduation will be held in Hobgood Auditorium.)
  • May 22 – Academic Banquet at 6:30 pm

Students will compete in the District Reading Fair at South Central Service Cooperative in Camden on Friday, May 11.
